Common Questions

Before You Get in Touch

When is the best time to trek in Nepal? +

The two prime trekking seasons are October–November (post-monsoon, clear skies, best visibility) and March–May (pre-monsoon, rhododendrons in bloom). Winter (Dec–Feb) is cold but possible. Monsoon (June–Sept) is challenging but scenic on rain-shadow routes like Upper Mustang.

Do I need trekking experience for Everest Base Camp? +

No technical mountaineering experience is required for EBC. You should be physically fit and comfortable walking 5–7 hours daily on mountain terrain. We recommend 6–8 weeks of fitness preparation. Our guides will set a pace appropriate for your fitness level.

Is travel insurance required? +

Yes — travel insurance covering high-altitude trekking and helicopter evacuation is mandatory for all our treks above 3,000m. We can recommend trusted providers. Without valid insurance, we cannot permit clients on high-altitude routes.

What's included in your trek packages? +

All our packages include: certified guide, teahouse accommodation on trail, all trek permits and TIMS card, airport transfers, and pre-departure briefing. Packages vary on meals, porters, and Kathmandu hotel nights. International flights are never included.
